Rototo Socks are made in Japan's Nara Prefecture, a region which has been famous for industrial sock production since a local man brought a sock weaving machine home from an American study tour in 1910. Rototo continue to use non-computerised, vintage knitting machines in their designs, as well as the latest hi-tech models. At the centre of their practice is the union of materials, machinery and craftsmanship - all three elements must be present to preserve ancestoral weaving techniques and produce singularly special socks, unparallelled in style, comfort and quality.
