Made in their factory in Koryo-cho, located in Nara prefecture, an area of Japan long renowned for its premium sock manufacturing thanks to the vintage sewing machines that have been steadily brought to the area from the USA over the last century. With such machines at their disposal, Rototo has gained a reputation for some of the finest socks in Japan, emphasizing premium yarns, comfort, and an unrestricted exploration of patterns and classic styles alike. The first Rototo season available at Double Double showcases the label’s versatility with animal print, colour blocking, and sports stripes making appearances across the range.
The Rototo New School socks offer a simple yet considered premium reimagining of the classic sports tube sock. Here in the orange and black colourway, the leg of this sock is constructed from a versatile ribbed cotton-synthetic blend fabric and adorned with a wide black stripe around the leg, with two narrower orange stripes above and below it. Made from the highest quality materials with the finest craftspersonship, these socks are the perfect staple, whether the stripes are visible or not.
