The Collection

N. Hollywood marks its 20th anniversary this year. After surviving the disruption of 2020, the label has chosen to celebrate its enduring legacy by reprising touchstone shapes and fabrics from its two-decade history. Within this collection, the Japanese brand presents a number of different lines that muddy conventional understandings of clothing. The label's long-running ‘Compile’ line is presented in a collection of muted colourways for easy coordination, designed to walk a line between formal and casual so thin that it ceases to exist. The 'Under Summit Wear' capsule explores similar ground, described by the label as "underwear that can be worn as the minimum necessary outerwear." Remaining close to the label's original influences, the "Test Product Exchange Service" line takes a unique look at military styles, drawing inspiration from the "Rainbow Gangs" on US aircraft carriers.
